The Voice Behind the Words
Hi, I’m Courtney Valenzuela. For a long time, I didn't have a physical voice. I didn't speak until I was twelve years old. In that silence, I found my true voice through writing. It became my safe space, my therapy, and eventually, my calling.
Today, I write to give a voice to the things we often keep hidden. Whether I'm exploring the shadows of dark romance and thrillers, sharing the raw reality of addiction and recovery in my memoirs, or sparking imagination in children’s literature, my goal is always the same: to show that healing is possible. My "Plot Twist World" is built on the belief that even the most unexpected turns in life can lead us exactly where we need to be.
I am a proud author based in Orlando, Florida, where I live my life by putting God first in all that I do. I’m a wife and a mother to three boys, and they are the heart of my world. When I’m not drafting my next story or hosting my podcast, The Plot Twist: Unfiltered, you can usually find me cheering on my sons, re-watching Harry Potter or Supernatural, and finding grounding in the simple moments of life.
